Born in Hyogo prefecture, Seiji is a graduate of Kobe Design University.

He is greatly interested in the silhouette of objects, and has channeled that interest into his recent works featuring insects and animals.

Since 2007 the themes of his pieces have been focused on scenery and street corners.
