Born in Kobe, of Indian parents, Seema spends the first nine years of her life in Japan before attending boarding school in India. She perfects her creative education studying Jewelry design in Dallas USA and earning a bachelors degree in architecture at Melbourne university - Australia.

In 2007 she returns to Kitano, Kobe for a collaboration with the architectural office Dodici Dodici, where she capitalizes her variegated experience in the design of ceramic panels.
