Junko was born in 1977 in Kagawa prefecture - Shikoku, and currently resides in Kobe City.

In 2000, along with her husband, an italian architect, she founded "Bartok Design." She thus began designing and producing tableware, small display pieces, and vases that would then be manufactured in Italy and brought to Japan.

From 2002 Junko expanded her line of products to include display panels, accent tiles, name plates, and signs for shops or public facilities.

In 2007 she began a new line called "Bartok Art". Junko takes care of the design, promotional activities and creation of new products pursuing her idea of "total coordination": ceramic, furniture, fabrics repeat patterns and colors to create vibrant yet harmonic interiors.

Junko is the chief designer and manager of "Bartok Design" and "Bartok Art."
