Venice, Italy is Cristian's hometown.

He graduated from the Oriental studies department at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, with a special focus on Japanese language and culture.

Cristian arrived in Japan in 1998 and has since been living in the Kansai region.

In 2003 he began designing ornamental tiles and nameplates for the Italian design company Dodici Dodici.

Cristian enjoys lone domestic train journeys, film, theater, and cycling.
